Stephen has been practising yoga for over 20 years. his yoga story has taken him around the world and into many styles and schools. as a fitness enthusiast he understands the body having brought himself back from injury many times. Stephen is equally focussed on relaxation techniques and mind/body connection. He did his teacher training with the shamanic school of yoga in the rainforests of costa rica and is further qualified with the yoga nidra network and as a meditation teacher. He describes yoga nidra as the greatest contribution to yoga in modern times. Stephen has taught all over the world and can be found teaching weekly classes at total chi studio in Baker Street, London.
Stephen has one foot in the corporate world and one in the wellness world – as a former partner in a city law firm – and so understands perfectly what techniques work to reduce stress and promote health. Accordingly he works with big corporates in providing corporate wellness programmes. As a thought leader for the global wellness institute he is also a leading voice on healthy buildings and through his company Mind Body Building, advises property owners and hoteliers on how to make spaces healthy. Stephen writes and speaks regularly in this area and wellness generally.
